Don’t leave your branding at the door!

Having an event is a great way to market and promote your business. By spreading the word about your event you can attract new customers. You can design a flyer that shows the value of why people should attend your event and have the opportunity to share your expertise with your target market face to face. However, if you are having an event, do not forget to brand the event itself.

Your corporate identity

You want to show your business identity at every opportunity you can – logo, colours, fonts – all this gives an impression of your business from the moment your attendees walk through the door to the moment they leave. An event is an experience and your attendees to leave with the right message about you – how professional you are, how thoughtful you are, that you are an expert in your field.

It is all in the details

The details of your event are important and leave a subliminal message. Who was there, was the event worth my time, did I enjoy the food and drink, did I like the presentation – they are several questions that will evoke an emotion from an event. But your brand is part of that impression. So always put your bet foot forward and take advantage of the time you have with your potential customer.

Work within your budget

It does not have to be too costly, but having promotional material to display supports your brand. A pop-up banner might be an option for you that you could use over again. A great idea is to heave printed material such as a brochure or even a promotional item for attendees. It depends on the objective of your event (why are you doing the event, who is your target market and what is your call to action). Think about that before hand and create a plan, so you get the best outcome from your time and budget.

But remember – reinforce your brand ALWAYS!
